Ok, I haven't posted anything in 1000 years, but I am going to try post more often. I have been cyber stalking my new IBF (internet best friend) the wonderful Ninja...but don't tell her I have not yet convinced her that we are IBF's YET...
Well she posted a link about another great blogger about her nair experience. Which led to multiple women talking about shaving, nair, and other hair removing incidents. I mentioned that I had a friend who had to go to the emergency room due to a shaving incident. Aussa (The Ninja) demanded that I tell the story, to which I told pondered about making her wait as she is always starting to tell us the funniest stories, then telling us we have to wait for her blog post about it. Which usually takes several weeks.
Soooooo here goes....
Several years ago, I am sitting at home and my phone rings. It is my friend "Jane" who lived down the street. Jane asks me to come to her house immediately. As I am double checking to make sure the boy is asleep, I ask her what is wrong. There is no answer for about 40 seconds and then Jane tells me that she had an accident while shaving her legs.
Apparently she was sitting on the edge of her tub and shaving her legs while drinking a soda. She had placed the can on the bathroom floor. Then apparently while twisting and turning to ensure she had un chewbacca'd her legs she lost her balance on the edge of the tub and fell....
ON TOP OF THE SODA CAN. As the can tipped over under her weight, the opening on the can sliced the holy hell out of the outer lip of her va-jay-jay.
(now that any women reading this have grimaced, doubled over, and/or momentary stopped breathing...I will continue)
She apparently was bleeding quite a lot and wanted me to come look to tell her if she needed to go to the emergency room. Jane and I were quite close, but something told me that would make us TOO close. I called another friend to stay with the boy, told her to get dressed the best she could and I would be right down to take her to the ER.
Karma was right on the money by giving her a doctor that could have given McDreamy a run for his money. He even managed not to laugh when giving her 12 stitches. Although he did have a pretty big grin on his face...
Sooo there ya go Ninja girl...Hope it was worth the wait.

OMG...This did not happen
Ok, I may or may not have told you that I work in IT for a living...
Well we have a lot of power issues in our building, apparently they never heard of setting up a stable power source for over 5 million in computer equipment.
So this past weekend we were supposed to have some really nasty storms, so I unplugged all the work stations in my area so I would not have to spend the week replacing power supplies.
So after unplugging everything on Friday, I put up a large note, just inside in door...YOU CAN'T MISS IT. It read "REMINDER, DON'T FORGET TO PLUG YOUR COMPUTERS BACK IN"
Well apparently that was not good enough... I had 5 users come into my office today
1 - to complain he had no power at his workstation
3 - to complain that even after they plugged the computers back in, they were not working
and last 2 to tell me that they plugged their computers back in and turned them on but they still were not working...They neglected to turn the monitors back on...
OMFG, are you kidding me...and I wonder why I get migraine headaches....

Now what the hell do I do....
OK first off let me apologize, I know that for most people this is not a real problem. Its not life of death, and no one will die regardless of what I choose... But I am scared and not sure what to do...
I can't really turn to family without getting judged, so I figured I could just vent here. (EDIT - to be fair not my whole family)
I have been looking for a house on and off for a few years now. Currently, I rent a three story town house, but with my back, hip and knee problems I need to get away from stairs.
Finding the required space for "MB" and I, in a layout that works has not been easy. I think I found something today. The layout is fantastic, all the room we need and then some.
So, hey idiot what is the problem....(I imagine you yelling at me, some louder than others, you know who you are ;-) )
It is at the very top of my price range, and would literally double what I am currently paying a month. I think I could do it, but am terrified about it. I work a contract position, which means it could go away. Currently the contract is supposed to be through 2016 but I have seen contracts end with almost no notice.
God, Goddess and whomever willing I would be able to find another contract. But if I spend money I could be putting in savings then what happens if it takes weeks or even months. What do I do if I take money that I could be putting away in case something happens...
Do I take a leap of faith, and go for the house?
Do I play it safe, and keep looking for a house that will be less perfect for us but more affordable? Even though I have not found it after years of looking?
I just don't know what to do...Do I jump in the water, or stay safe on the dock?
Have you ever had to make a decision that had you this confused, or scared? How did you decided?
Did it work out, or did you regret it later?

Hoping for Hope - Hope2012, A Blog Relay
My new friend Melanie, came up with an idea, a themed blog relay, like the Olympics. Only this is about hope
http://melaniecrutchfield.com/2012/07/27/hope-2012-a-blog-relay/
I have thought about this for several days, and to be honest the idea of writing about hope upsets me. Probably because in my life I have major issues with hope.
My son "MB" is autistic, and (even thought I hate most of the descriptions of people living on the autism spectrum) for the sake of this post I will use generalizations (forgive me, its easier and right now I need easy), he is considered moderate to severe.
My son will never graduate high school, never have a real job, never live alone. He is incapable of holding a conversation, or express his thoughts or dreams.
When I was pregnant, I had some many hopes, and dreams, but now I just don't know.
And then I look into my son's beautiful blue eyes, and my heart melts. I know in someways I am lucky. He can talk, and express basic wants and needs. He is a caring and loving young man
When I first started thinking about what I would write, it almost felt like an absence of hope, but as I watch my son and I look at the things he is able to do. Things that against all odds, he is now able to do, and I think it really is a hope for hope...

Making things worse - Media Coverage of The Colorado Tragedy
I have been very upset since the news broke last Friday about the movie theater shootings in Colorado.
Like most people in the US, I followed the news about this, searching for answers. How can someone have done this? What must the families be going through?
Then I started to get angry, not at the situation per say but at the media coverage.
Morning Joe Scarborough, who gets on his TV show and spews some of the most horrific comments I have ever heard spoken
He starts off by saying that he does not want to generalize, but then goes on to say that the shooter was "on the autism scale."
Families dealing with Autism, and Autism spectrum disorders don't need this kind of garbage Joe. You of all people should know what we deal with having a child on the spectrum yourself. Families dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorders have higher rates of depression, and anxiety. First from dealing with the insane costs of dealing with the disorder, and secondly from a public who don't understand Autism and run from it like the plague. When you are dealing with Autism, you lose family, and friends. I have been asked to leave restaurants, and other public place because my son was acting out.
You, do us all a extreme harm, when you spout off on a subject you know nothing about Joe. You may understand Autism as it pertains to your son, but you don't know anything about this shooter.
If that weren't bad enough then the media decides to exploit a child. In the theater that night was a 13 year old CHILD who was there with family friends. A six year old child was with the group, this 6 year old tragically died in the shooting, and her mother was critically injured (as of today she is making progress but will be paralyzed). The 14 yr old, attempted to save the 6 year old after she was shot but was unable to do so.
My anger at this story is firmly divided between this child's mother Heather (CBS states their last name won't be given for privacy reasons...WHAT A CROCK) and CBS news. Heather for allowing them to interview her child in the first place, and CBS for what their reporter (slime monger - more likely) John Blackstone asked this child. After having her describe what happened, he casually asks her if she will go to the movies again. The child is visually upset and says, no she doesn't think she will ever go to the movies again. Heartbreaking right. End of story right...NO this idiot asks her how she feels about the smell of popcorn.
WHAT are you flipping kidding me...This is a traumatized child and your going to trivialize what she has gone through. Shame on CBS for even airing this, and shame on this child's mother for letting them do it...

Jinglehammer...The legend continues
So where we last left off Jinglehammer and been spiked int "A's" garden, with such overkill that a hurricane was not going to get him to move. There he sat for 7 straight days, until....
On Saturday morning, "A" walked out the front door to find her car parked at an angle at the end of her driveway. She walked to her car, and opened the door and lying in the drivers seat is Jinglehammer, an empty beer bottle and a empty pack of cigarettes. At that point "A" lost it laughing...when she calmed down she grabbed the bottle and empty cig pack and tossed them and when back to the car (I totally yelled at her for not taking pictures).
That was when she saw the new note on Jinglehammer... It read
Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride,
I'm never gonna walk such ground, oh no,
I've got to keep on movin'.
"A's" husband "B" called me to tell me that "A" was 45 minutes late to work this morning, because she could not stop laughing long enough to drive to work.
I only wish I had come up with these pranks..."B" my friend you are an evil genius.
Jinglehammer disappeared after that, "A" swears that she still has him but he has not been seen around the house since. "B" is convinced that she took him to work and is preparing to bribe a couple of her co-workers to find out.
I hope he finds Jinglehammer soon, I have not laughed this hard in ages.

You spent what???
Yes that is what I was asked today, when after being asked what I did over the weekend. My answer was simple, cleaned the house, grocery shopping, Tried to take "MB" sailing, and spent 10K on a dog.
That's right, you heard me correctly, I just spent 10K for a dog. A real live dog, not that I would not consider a taxidermy dog, but for 10K that dog would have to be gold plated and shit.
For those of you who someone have found this blog and are going Taxidermy Dog, what kind of freak are you?
Check out the bloggess, herself and her quest for a taxidermy miniature pony. This is such a awesome idea, that I immediately sent her an email, offering to chip in for it. If nothing else it will drive her husband Victor up the wall.
Ok, back to the 10K dog. For those who don't know I have a 14 year old son, nicknamed "Monkey Boy" or MB for short here in the blogosphere. MB, is autistic, with multiple other issue (Epilepsy, Anxiety, ADHD, and PMS (Psycho Mom Syndrome).
MB's issues make it difficult to go places. Every trip is a new adventure, and not always in a good way. I never know how he will react. One trip to the grocery store and everything is wonderful. The next trip he screams the entire time.
So I finally came up with the money to purchase him a service dog. The dog will be trained to deal with anxiety and calm him. In addition it will be trained to alert for seizures, and as a search and rescue dog.
I am not yet sure if what the sex will be but I do know that it will be a Cane Corso (pronounced Car-Knee Corso).

The color is not guaranteed, but really hope he/she is black. So yes, I have spent an insane amount of money on a dog, but if it gives "MB" more freedom then it will be worth every penny.
We should be picking the dog up around January, I will let you know how it works out.

JINGLEHAMMER, The legend begins
So a few days ago, I told you how I came to find Jinglehammer. Well little did I know that buying Jinglehammer, and sending him to my friends would result in this.
My friends and I are a bunch of practical jokers, so I guess I should not be surprised at what happened next.
My sister and our friends loved their Jinglehammers. One friend "A" immediately put hers out in her garden, and if he had stayed there this would be a very boring blog.
So a day or two after Jinglehammer was exiled to the garden, "A" came home to find Jinglehammer on the couch watching tv, his note changed to read "Touch the remote and Die". "A" chuckled and put him back out in the garden.
The next night she found Jinglehammer in her bed, and the note read "You go sleep in the garden, Bitch...This is my bed now" ....Back to the garden he went.
The very next morning, she goes into the bathroom to take a shower and finds ....
Jinglehammer and a Rubber Duckie and the tub, Jinglehammer is wearing a shower cap, and the note now reads, "Don't you know how to knock"
She chuckled, and put him back in the garden on her way out of the house.
That night while getting dinner ready, "A" goes to the deep freezer to get out some garlic bread, and opens the door to find Jinglehammer dry humping a frozen turkey. This time the note reads "Yeah, who's your daddy now??"
That night I got a semi-drunken phone call, telling me that Jinglehammer was a perv....I fell off the couch laughing...
So the next morning "A" got up and went out in the garden with Jinglehammer, and real hammer and some 6 inch garden spikes. She then put 8 U shapes spikes all around him, she called me all happy saying that little bastard is not going anywhere this time...
And in the garden he stayed...1 day, 2 days, 3 days...for a full week he did not move.
Stayed tuned for the rest of the story...................

Introducing JINGLEHAMMER
Those of us, who worship at the feet of the Bloggess all
know the story of Beyoncé. After learning about Beyoncé, my sister, two friends
and I started a diligent search for our own Beyoncé...We spent almost a year
searching, we looked high, we looked low...We looked up and we looked
down...alas such was our despair at not being about to find that elusive 5 ft.
metal chicken. We even contacted people about making us our own Beyoncé, but we
could not find anyone who was even willing to consider this.
I had given up all hope of find a Beyoncé of my very own and
had fallen into a pit of despair. Then one day I was out shopping, I had gone
to Targét (remember the t at the end is silent) and was walking the isles and
then I saw it.
It was funky, it was amazingly awesome. It was not as big as
Beyoncé only about 20 inches tall, but being that small would make it easier to
send to my partners in crime. I grabbed four and ran to the checkout, and
brought them home with me. I called my sister, and said I have found Beyoncé’s
cousin. I sent her a picture of our new little friend. We discussed names but
nothing seemed quite right. Then it struck me. the Bloggess, the Bloggess should
name our new little friend.
So I fired off an email with the picture attached, and asked
her to bestow a name on the new addition to the family. I wondered if she would
answer the email. Would the Bloggess, that quirky wonderful goddess even respond
to my email. The next morning, I checked my email and there was a response, she
had answered and his name was JINGLEHAMMER. It was perfect and fit my new
little friend perfectly. Not how to introduce Jinglehammer to my friends, what
note should I send with him. Now to me I pronounce it like Jinglehamma like one would say Jabberwocky,
so he definitely has some attitude. So I typed up a the following note:
I don’t knock
Motherfucker,
I go where I want,
when I want,
For I am JINGLEHAMMER
I attached the note, packed up the boxes and sent them on
their way. Little did I know, that
Jinglehammer had more attitude that even I knew and that his exploits would
soon take on legendary proportions.

People hide for a reason
People hide for a reason...They are either doing something wrong, attempting to do something wrong, or are so wrapped up in government bureaucracy that they are forced to hide to keep the public from hunting them down and beating them senseless.
I know understand the last part of these very well. I am a newly rated disabled veteran, and due to some confusing paperwork I recieved today I had to call their help line.
After hitting the required 1000 buttons to get through the automated system, and actually talk to a person. I then answer several hundred more questions to prove that I am who I say I am...I mean really I don't see my life as being so fab that someone who pretend to be me....but ok fine...
We know both know exactly who I am...So I ask my question and wait the required time on hold while they pull up my info in the computer system.
I am asked the date of the letter, and then I am told that they sent me a letter at the end of May that answers the question. The only problem with that is I did not get a letter at the end of May. So I say
Can just tell me the information???
No that is against policy...
Can you email the information to me???
No that is against policy...
Can you send me a copy of the letter???
No that is against policy...
So wait a minute...you can not answer my question, because it was already answered in a letter I never received...and now you can't give me the letter....
I was told to get a copy of the letter that I never received, I would have to take time off work and drive an hour away. Oh yes and you can not make an appointment, you have to go sit and wait.
That was when I reached for the Jack Daniels...I figure that if I were drunk maybe it would then make sense...
Soooo then I asked for a supervisor...Who told me it was against policy to answer my questions, as they had already sent me a letter to address a question I did not know I had, until after I got the second letter....

Does your head hurt now too....GOOD why should I suffer alone...LOL
I did at least get the supervisor to mail me a copy of the letter, so at least I don't have to lose time at work. Of course by this time, I am too drunk to care about the answer of my question in the first place...

Its been forever
Well looking back, it has been over a year since I have posted anything. Not really sure why, just nothing to talk about I guess.
I am officially a disabled veteran, although they messed up part of the paperwork, and I have no idea how long it will take to fix it.
'MB" will be 15 this year, and went off to summer camp for a week in June. Easter Seals runs a really good camp for special needs kids and does two week just for kids with Autism. He did well in June, behaviorally anyway. Only two small outbursts, but he did not want to participate in most of the activites. All he wanted to do is swim swim swim and swim. I spent the whole week waiting for the phone to ring, and be told to come get him.
He will go back at the end of the month, at least I hope he will. He was not real happy with me for leaving him there to begin with, so I have fears that he won't get out of the car when I bring him back.
I am going to strive to post at least once a week.
I am quite sure no one is reading this but it might just help me to feel productive.
Take care.

Can you crucify yourself?
Recently I read a story on the internet, about a man found in South Korea who had been crucified. The scene as the police found it appeared to recreate the crucifixion of Christ. He had a crown of thorns on his head, had a wound on his side, had been whipped and he was found nailed to a cross, with two other crosses one on each side.
Unusual maybe, unheard of no…
Why am I wasting your time with this you may wonder?
Well if for no other reason, then the last line of the story. The South Korean police were investigating if the man had committed suicide or not?
WHAT…SUICIDE??? How on God’s green earth can you commit suicide via crucifixion? I actually sat with a couple of friends and we talked about this. We do not see how it would be possible for a individual to drill holes and both his palms and feet (apparently the autopsy found a power drill was used to create the holes) we do not feel anyone would have the strength to drill these holes themselves. Not to mention how could you drill a hole in your palm while holding the drill. Then how do you hang yourself on the cross. You could probably do your feet and one hand, but the second one is going to be loose.
Then of course the conversation turned to, if your friends helped you would it be murder or not.
Yes before you ask, we had too much time on our hands…

Adult card revoked
I read a post today on one of my favorite blogs http://sexandthesingledad.com/, he waxed poetically about how you can have your man card revoked, and that you should never allow anyone to hold your balls for you. This got me to thinking about something I heard on the radio recently.
The DJ was talking about the Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert wedding (they are both country music stars), and was talking about how he had a college educated female friend who was so depressed about Shelton getting married, that it was all she could do to get out of bed. Apparently she thought they were soul mates and destined to be together. He wanted to know if anyone else had friends like this; people who fantasized about meeting and falling in love with a star, to the point where it seriously impacted your life.
If I had not been on my way into work, I probably would have called in and told him yes I had friends who were like that...WHEN I WAS 12...OMG what sane adult really thinks that in the life that out of 310 million people in the USA you really have a chance to meet and fall in love with a music star.
People like this should have their adult cards revoked....so ALA JR's list of how to get your man card revoked, this is how you can get your adult card revoked...
1. Being so in love with any type of star (actor, music, sports, any kind) to the point where you are wasting your life away following them on twitter, or facebook, and telling everyone that you are going to marry them someday....CARD REVOKED
2. Individuals who baby talk, exception only if talking to a baby, but must be for less than 30 seconds. Anyone who baby talks their partner, should be dragged behind a car naked over a gravel road...Just my opinion :-D
3. People who make plans with friends, co-workers, dates, etc. and bail at the last possible second because, something better came up...CARD REVOKED
4. Photo-maniacs, other wise known as people who bombard you with pictures, of themselves, vacations, children, either in person or electronically. Exception - pictures of a special occasions that you see once and they are never brought up again
5. People who bombard you with what they consider are cute emails that state you must send them to any number of other people including back to the sender. Not only should they get their adult card revoked, they should not be allow to have access to any electronic equipment for at least 6 months.
6. Anyone over the age of 16 who refers to themselves as a GLEEKSTER, or any other such nickname...
These are just off the top of my head, feel free to add any others you can think of....

Bad Mommy... :-(
I am having a bad mommy day. Today was supposed to be a normal day, go to work come home, do some cleaning, you know what I mean. The USUAL. No, due to record heat, I had to leave work half way through the day, as they closed the schools.
Now I can understand why they closed the schools, some schools don't have air conditioning, so they have to close them when it gets this hot. I can even understand that with the bus schedules that they have to close all the public schools in the county. However, what I don't understand is why they then have to close my son's private school, which has A.C., and the busing is done by a contracting company.
Oh well, at least this time I found out ahead of time, rather than by the bus company when they were in front of my house.
So I left work early and when "Monkey Boy (MB)" got home from school, I took him to run some errands I was just too lazy to do over the holiday weekend. Now I have not really talked about "MB" before, partly because I am so new to blogging. "MB" is autistic, how severe is a bone of contention between the experts. Between severe and moderate would be a good way to phrase it. He can talk, but is incapable of holding a real conversation. I tell people to look at him as a giant 3-4 year old, as that really seems to be where his development has stalled.
That being the case, taking him on errands is like running a marathon, when part of the course is made of quick sand. I never know when my sweet MB is going to turn into demon spawn. Lucky for me, we got thru the errands I needed to run, and he was wonderful. Of course that might have been the doughnuts and the movie I let him pick out why we were out. I am sorry, some times bribery works.
I would say that my bad mood started on the way home, when he broke the movie, trying to get it out of the case. Then he started screaming for McDonalds, over and over again. So I ignore him, and drive home. I unload my purchases, groceries, and start to put everything away. Meanwhile MB is less than 3 inches from my face, screaming for French fries. When I open the freezer to put the sherbet away he yanks the bag out and I get slammed on the top of the head with a frozen pot roast.
I saw stars and then I saw red. I flipped out; I yelled and then put MB in time out. Maybe I should have gone myself. He yelled in time out for about 30 min straight. We have a rule, he can not come one until he calms down.
Now I feel so guilty, for yelling. The problem is you can never really tell how much he understands in any given situation. So more than likely, I was screaming at a child who does not even understand why I was yelling…
Man I feel like crap….

An hour of my life, I will never get back
An hour of my life, I will never get back. Otherwise known as I would sell my soul for a customer service person who speaks English.
For my job today, (yes I have a job) I was supposed to download and install Microsoft security updates on our computers. Why do I have to do this you ask, when you know at home you get to click the little button that looks like a shield and it does everything automatically for you. Well here we have what is called a closed network, meaning no public Internet access. So I have to go to the Microsoft website, and down load the patches then place them on the server and push them out to all the computers.
Normally this is pretty easy...Not today...I say since I have been on the phone with Microsoft for over 45 min (yes I am typing this at work, but its either type this or lose what is left of my mind). I had 13 patches to download, I got the first 10 very quickly and then WHAMO....The other 3 patches I need are not on the download page, so stupid me decided that I should call Microsoft...Yes I know there are people out there slapping the table and asking what the hell was i thinking.
Call me crazy, I figured that since Microsoft released the security bulletins, that they would have the patches...UGH...
So I dial in, and listen to the options and select the one about security updates and then wait...When someone finally answers the phone, I get an overseas call center, where they take my information and tell me that I have the wrong call center and they will connect me to the proper one, and give me the 14 digit case number they have assigned me which they rattle off in about 2 seconds so I make them repeat it 3 times to make sure I have it correct.
This quickly leads to the next four people that I am routed and rerouted to, all of whom want my case number and for me to repeat all of my personal information again so they can confirm who I am...Are you kidding who else would be crazy enough to go through all this....
I have to repeat my story several times over as they insist that I am having download issues, and or the patches are already on my machine and they will show me where to find them...
45 mins in I am transferred again, and this time I get someone who is at least capable of listening..Although I did have to go over everything twice, as she was very confused with what her co-workers had typed into my case file...She puts me on hold for about 15 minutes and says that she can not find the patches either, and that there is nothing she can do....OMG
Soooooo now I have been on hold for well over an hour...and I just have one question....

Sisters, not just blood relations anymore
I have a sister, we were not raised together, in fact we did not meet until I was in my early 30's. I know more about her life now then the family I was raised with. When I have a bad day and need to vent she is the first one I call, and based on the number of times my phone ring and the first words I hear are, "you are not going to believe this shit" it is safe to say I am in the top 3 on her speed dial.
We have bonded over crazy husbands (her current and my ex) lots of booze, children and why we can't kill them. Last year, I got one of the worst phone calls in my life, she found a lump. While I could not be at her side, I was on the phone with her for every step of the way. I laughed with her, cried with her, yelled, cried and threw things when I got off the phone. I did anything and everything I could to be her support and not show her how absolutely scared to death I was that she might be taken.
We were given a gift, even with dealing with some idiot doctors, or more to the point in spite of them. A specialist who rallied with us about the stupidity of some of his medical brethren, got it all. Then we got a second gift, after blood tests showed she did not need kemo or radiation. She will be on medication for the next several years, and even with the horrible side effects, she knows how lucky she is and so do we.
This year I will participate in the Avon walk for breast cancer with my sister, and thank god that we have this chance.
My sister and I are not blood relations, we share no common genes or DNA. We found each other through fate or luck, and I know that I would have missed her even if we had never met.
Love ya chick...see ya in DC

Can you be too passionate about something
I was talking to my boss yesterday and he told me that I was doing a great job and everyone really liked me (can you hear the but coming???) BUT that he felt I was too passionate about my job. WHAT!!!!! I have a job that I like going to, which believe me I know is rare. I honestly care about doing my job well, when did that become a bad thing. Now I appreciate constructive criticism but how is that constructive? How can you change that? I am not even really sure what that means. I can only assume, because the boss did not give me specifics, that finishing my work quickly and asking if there is anything else that needs to be done; or offering to help others is the issue. So I am going to slow down and get my work done but not necessarily as quickly and I will wait to be asked for help.
Maybe that will take care of the issue if not then who knows.

Someone call the trailer park, their trash is missing
I was watching Judge Judy today, mostly because my son loves it, and partly because she can be pretty funny sometimes.
This woman is being sued by the father of her children for stupid stuff. When questioned about the relationship, he said that they had been in a relationship for almost 20 years. At that point she interrupted and said that they had not been in a relationship for over 15 years. Judy looked confused at that point and looked at her papers, and said you say you have not been in a relationship for over 15 years. The woman replied, yes your honor, I hate him.
Judy half rolls her eyes and says ok, you hate him and have not been in a relationship for over 15 years. Then can you explain to me how you have a 10 year old child together. This lady looks at her and say with a perfectly straight face. Your honor, I hate him...I have hated him for years but you see I wanted another child, and I wanted both my children should have the same father, so I called him for a booty call.
She was actually proud of this, this idiot felt that having two children with a man she hated was a good thing...
The worst part of it was the guy was suing her for money for gifts he had given her, he didn't want the gifts back just the cash, when he only pays 150 a month in child support for two kids and is several thousand dollars in arrears.

Naked men falling from the sky
A punchline to a joke you ask...the start of a funny story...No
This actually happened, a woman in Mississippi while getting ready for work heard a crash she walked out into her living room to find a naked man and a giant hole in her ceiling. Apparently the man, a neighbor, was hiding out from the police, when they came to arrest him for a parole violation. He climbed thru the attic access in his apartment and was making his way thru the attic when he fell thru his neighbors ceiling.
As I read this story, the one thing that got me wondering, why was the heck was he naked....What does it say about me that I feel the need to know the answer to this question.

Just a Mom
Well if anyone is reading this, you will see that I sign my posts "Just a Mom". This came from a conversation with some friends when we were talking about raising sons. We got into a debate about raising boys, and if it was better in the long run to tell them to "Man Up" when things happened, or let the express their emotions (or to quote my friend Mike, cry like a girl). During this, I was told that I just don't understand what being a REAL man is all about, because I was just a Mom.
I would like to say that I just smiled at the obvious backward thinking small minded cretin, who made this remark and ignored him, but I would like to believe that any mother would have found this comment difficult to swallow...
I responded with the following (as best as I remember)
Your right, I am just a Mom who is raising her son to be the best person he can possible be. To know that a REAL man can show his emotions and cry when upset and not have his man card revoked. That a REAL man knows that showing emotions is a natural part of life and there is no shame involved. I have shown him through my actions that life can knock you down, and you can show your emotions about it and still "Man Up" and deal with the situation. If my doing that means that I am don't understand what you consider to be a real man, or how to raise a my son to be a decent and caring man because as you state I am "Just a Mom" then fine by me, it is a title I will wear with pride.
